Unfortunately that is a very expensive part to replace because the manufacturer makes that flex pipe a part of a system. The system is comprised of the exhaust down pipe, the catalytic converter, That piece of flex pipe and the flange. You can purchase the system from a local parts store for about half that price and pay a garage to install it for you because any mechanic can replace it. You can also go to an exhaust shop and have a new piece of flex pipe welded in to save more money if you want. Most exhaust shops will charge around $200.00 to weld in a new flex pipe for you. If you can weld and have the ability to do it yourself you can buy a piece of flex pipe for around $50.00 and the gaskets needed for about $20.00 and save even more money. Hope I have been helpful. And to Kelly_F_ they are not talking about the axle shafts. It is a part of the exhaust system as I stated. |
